The village of El-Gouna, situated around 13 miles north of Hurghada, is an up market tourist complex created by a wealthy Egyptian, where nature and the environment take high priority. The remarkable site features an 18-hole golf course, a lagoon running through the grounds and a 7-mile beach.
To the south of Hurghada extends 220 miles of well-preserved coastline, with, for example, Safaga offering 12 exceptional dives (Tobia Arbaa, Panorama Reef, Shaab Queis).
The touristic development of the Red Sea coast allows the discovery of still virgin and wild sites. However, in high season, the number of flippers can be considerably more numerous than the fish!
